Stalin’s gaze

It's 1936

You suffer from Autism but you can function

You are invited to the Kremlin to receive honors for attendance at the factory

As Joseph Vissaronich enters the hall you grab a glass of vodka off a tray to calm yourself

It's your first vodka in years so it works instantly and you smile politely as Stalin passes you

That sip bought you a normal kind of smile that Stalin approves of vs your autistic scowl or worse, a faked smile

Then Stalin stops where you stand

Your frightened to death

You begin to sweat

He looks you over and sees an empty glass on the tray

Who stole state vodka he asks

And stares directly at YOU
